If you are a beach lover like me, you are going to love this round-up of swoon-worthy locations for this once-in-a-lifetime trip!

Option 1: Anguilla

Good for: Something new

This gorgeous Caribbean Island is definitely a great option for couples looking to go somewhere they have never been. The untouched beaches of Anguilla are something out of a postcard with crystal clear waters and pearly white sand. Rent a car for your stay so you have the ability to explore all of the beautiful beaches and coves. While there are numerous beautiful resorts on the island, none match the perfect honeymoon vibes like Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel. This resort is truly spectacular with stunning architecture and impeccable service. Another swoon-worthy property is the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla. Sip drinks with your lover while watching the sunset over the Caribbean waters.

Option 2: Fiji

Good for: The adventurous couple

Make your way to the South Pacific to this ocean-lover’s paradise! Ideal for the thrill-seeking couple, this tiny island nation boasts numerous fun adventures. From scuba diving abundant coral reefs to trekking through jungles, Fiji is much more than just beautiful beaches. But don’t worry! There are plenty of those, too! For a perfect tropical getaway stay at Kokomo Private Island Fiji where luxury meets sustainability. Enjoy numerous water activities including heading out with the locals to catch your own dinner! Hike through the lush forest to find waterfalls or just lazy in your personal infinity pool overlooking the sandy beaches. Keen to go surfing? Stay at Six Senses Fiji, Malolo where you are just a short boat ride away from the famous Cloudbreak surfing spot!

Option 3: St. Bart's

Good for: Total Luxury

If you want your honeymoon to be the most luxurious trip you’ve ever taken, this is your stop. A tiny island in the Caribbean, this destination is a favorite of the stars. Formally known as Saint Barthelemy but St. Barth’s by the locals, and St. Bart’s for everyone else! Infused with French culture, sparkling white beaches, and beautiful resorts that allow for total privacy, you can easily see why so many jet-set to this paradise! While this place definitely has up-scale vibes, you would be surprised to find it still has the relaxed attitude of many other Caribbean islands. Cut-offs and flip-flops are still the norm here. Want to rub elbows with the celebs? Book table service at Nikki Beach for parties that go until the wee hours. For the ultimate chic stay, check into the Christian Liaigre-designed Le Sereno. Trendy, private and straight out of an interior design magazine. And while Hotel Christopher isn’t directly on the beach, it arguably has the best infinity pool on the island. So, grab a cocktail and take a dip into paradise!

Option 4: Bahamas

Good for: Paradise close to home

If you don’t have the budget to jet across the world, why not visit the wonderland next door? The Bahamas are made up of over 700 islands and all of them boast beautiful blue water and unique beaches. From the pink sands of Harbour Island to the swimming pigs of the Exumas, pick your paradise. Fly into the commercial island of Nassau and stay at the lux SLS at Baha Mar where numerous dining options and an array of entertainment will keep you occupied. Prefer some privacy? Jump on a plane to the outer islands and take in the absolute isolation that awaits you there. Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort & Villas is right on the white sandy beaches of Long Island. This paradise is definitely ideal for those that enjoy being out on the water. Explore grottos, snorkel coral reefs, or try your hand at deep sea fishing.

Option 5: Australia

Good for: A true adventure

Our next destination is ideal for couples that really want a true adventure (and don’t mind long flights!) The largest island in the world, Australia is full of stunning beaches and wonderful culture. Fly into Sydney to see the sights then, depending on your preferences, head west to secluded beaches with the whitest sand and a chance to see a kangaroo hop by or jet north to tropical Queensland to do some diving on the Great Barrier Reef! Western Australia boasts numerous beautiful sites but is definitely ideal for couples that see the journey as part of the fun. With long stretches between towns, hire a camper van and explore the entire coast or hop on a second flight to visit Esperance where the world-famous Lucky Bay is! You have definitely seen this one on social media as their resident kangaroos like to relax on the white powdery sand! Stay at Esperance Chalet Village for an adorable cottage feel just steps from the bluest water you’ll ever see! If your dream is to explore the Great Barrier Reef, InterContinental Hayman Island Resort will put you right into the action.

Option 6: Turks and Caicos

Good for: Avoiding crowds

If your idea of paradise means not another soul in sight, we have found your destination. Turks and Caicos is a tiny island nation just south of the Bahamas. Another favorite among celebrities, you may have seen models and movie stars alike share some of the magnificent scenery on their social channels. Boasting some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, we can see why! This is definitely a place for “barefoot luxury” with some of the lushest resorts dotting through the islands. For a spot at one of the best beaches on the island, Grace Bay Club offers beachfront access. With three pools, a world class spa and fine dining options, you will never be bored! For something even more remote, stay at COMO Parrot Cay which sits on its own private island. Take a sunset horseback ride on the beach, snorkel the numerous coral reefs, or just sip pina coladas in your personal villa pool sneaking kisses from your lover.

Option 7: Cayman Islands

Good for: Dive enthusiasts

Calling all water lovers! This spot is for you! One of the best diving sites in the Caribbean, The Cayman Islands are a tiny island nation just south of Cuba. With a British background, you will find beautiful colonial architecture across the island. While the action really lies just offshore, Seven Mile Beach is continuously voted one of the best beaches in the world. For the ultimate stay right on the sand, stay at the boutique hotel Palm Heights. This stylish retro vibe gives you all the luxuries you need without the crowds of some of the larger resorts on the island. Want to wake up and jump right in the water? Stay at Wyndham Reef Resort, Cayman Island where the reef is literally steps from your bed! Make sure to book plenty of dives, snorkel trips, paddle boarding and kayaking to enjoy all this paradise has to offer.

Option 8: Hawaii

Good for: Nature lovers

The aloha spirit is something you will feel as soon as you land in the Kingdom of Hawaii. Full of palm trees, gorgeous mountain trails, lush jungles, and an assortment of beaches to explore, you will have plenty of things to do. Hawaii’s natural landscapes are legendary and one of the best places in the world to truly disconnect and become one with nature. Enjoy whale and dolphin tours, swim alongside sea turtles, or snorkel the numerous colorful reefs around the islands. For a true luxury vacation surrounded by Hawaiian nature, stay at Four Seasons Lana’i which is just steps from the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy one of the many spa treatments, take in one of the famous Hawaiian sunsets, and fall asleep to the sound of waves. Or check out Hanalei Bay Resort located on the island of Kauai. Surfing, diving, and hiking are all at your fingertips with gorgeous mountain and ocean views from your room!

Exceptional service and everything you could ever want ready and waiting for you for a true home-away-from-home experience. Another fabulous option is Constance Lemuria where natural materials are blended perfectly into a modern yet warm atmosphere. Fine dining, luxurious spa treatments, and even an 18-hole golf course all await you!

Option 10: Maldives

Good for: Total Isolation

One of the most well-known beach lover’s paradises in the world, The Maldives is a tropical nation made up of over 1,000 islands in the Indian Ocean. With turquoise blue waters, white dazzling sands, and an abundance of wildlife, this destination is truly magical. The best part about the Maldives is many of the resorts sit on their own private islands. With numerous seaside resorts, it can be overwhelming trying to choose just one! While many have overwater bungalows available, the beach villas really wow guests! Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru boasts beautiful beachfront villas each with their own private pool and spa. Situated just a short boat ride away from the main airport in Male, save some money avoiding the costly seaplane rides to the outer islands without sacrificing any of the luxury and gorgeous Maldivian design. No budget? Jump on the seaplane to take in the spectacular views on the way to Soneva Fushi. An eco-friendly, beautifully designed, new resort in the Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
